New door. Big news.

We moved. Come say hello when you're in River North.

Same phone.
Same email.
Same studio you know.
New home:
325 West Huron Street, Suite 207, Chicago, Illinois 60654

It's a space built around the way we actually work — room to effectively communicate and collaborate and graciously welcome clients for the conversations that bring projects to life.  Equally as exciting, our new digs are in a building that is WELL Certified, a rating that applies the science of the physical and social environments to benefit the health, well-being and performance of its occupants.  This certification aligns beautifully with our commitment to promoting “people-first” places.

A Home Reimagined. A National Award Earned.

We're thrilled to share that our addition and renovation to a Residence in Riverwoods has been honored with a national 2026 Chrysalis Award.

The Chrysalis Awards for Remodeling Excellence — founded in 1993 and widely regarded as one of the most prestigious recognition programs in the residential design and remodeling industry — honor outstanding projects across 30 categories nationwide. Winners are selected regionally, then judged against the country's best to determine a national winner. To be recognized at that level, in a field open to any design professional across the country, means a great deal to our team.

The winning project reimagined a beloved mid-century home for an empty-nester couple entering what came to be called the "expansive season" of their lives. At its heart is a light-filled studio and workshop for two makers, linked to the original home by a sun-drenched gallery "spine." A reoriented kitchen anchored by a sculptural stone island opens to a new screened porch and the surrounding woods, blurring the line between inside and out. Exposed beams, stained wood, and stone keep it rooted in the home's mid-century spirit while giving it new clarity and soul. It was a joy to design, and we're proud to see it recognized on a national stage.

Work Worth Writing About

Lenore was named one of Luxe Interiors + Design's Influential Women of Design in the May/June 2026 issue. The feature spotlights her philosophy of "Anthro-tecture": where architecture and interiors converge to create spaces that don't just look beautiful, but feel meaningful to the people inside them. An approach to design with soul — something our clients have always known.

One of our kitchen designs was featured in the Spring 2026 Design Chicago Magazine's Opposites Attract issue — a meaningful nod to the care our team brings to spaces designed to be lived in, cooked in, and gathered around. Guided by the same Anthro-tecture philosophy, the kitchen was crafted to support the rhythms of real family life. It's the kind of recognition that reminds us why every detail matters.

Grateful. Fully and completely.

None of this is a solo act. To our remarkably talented team — your care, craft, and long hours are in every one of these milestones. And to our clients — thank you for trusting us with your homes and for giving us the chance to do work we genuinely love. We don't take a minute of it for granted.
