Mary Patera

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER, PROJECT ARCHITECT

Mary is a believer in the power of the built environment on people’s lives. She has broad professional experience in fine arts, construction and architecture, having worked in both Chicago and New York City on a range of project types and scales. Mary earned a Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, following years in NYC working as a carpenter, photographer and sculptor. She received a BA in Sculpture and Photography from Bennington College and participated in the Whitney Museum Independent Study Program in Studio Art. Mary is now concentrating on residential architecture, and is gratified to be part of a team determined to create good, useful and beautiful homes.
