HOME ADDITION
A classic colonial required additional entertainment space for large crowds of family and friends, an important part of this family’s lifestyle. The homeowners, empty-nesters, still needed the house to feel cozy and intimate on a daily basis while providing the capability to expand graciously for frequent guests. Preserving the beauty and integrity of the existing house while adding on new space for contemporary entertaining and optimizing exterior views and natural daylighting were clear directives for this project.
